Jeans Care - Remove Wax Stain From Jeans

There are a few different ways to get a wax stain on your jeans. One is regular old candle wax. I've done it, and it doesn't feel very good! Another way is when your kids let a crayon slip by and it goes
through the washer and the dryer, which melts it. Some lip balms are wax based and again, can end up going through the washer and dryer and you end up with a wax stain.
Remove a Wax or Wax Based Stain From Jeans:
Oil, grease and wax stains require a solvent cleaner. Rubbing alcohol is usually the mildest solvent found in households and tends to work well on oil, grease and wax stains. Denatured alcohol and dry cleaning fluid are excellent for blotting oil, grease and wax stains before pre-treating with heavy-duty liquid laundry detergent. After treating with detergent, gently agitate with hands and let set. Then, wash in hottest water appropriate for fabric with detergent. Rinse. Let air dry and check for stains. Repeat if stains remain.
Never place laundry in a dryer that smells of solvent cleaner. Solvents are not only smelly, but also flammable. Always let laundry air dry to allow solvents to evaporate and the smell to dissipate.
